Kim is a Certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist based in Scotland (UK). She graduated from Liverpool John Moores University (UK) with a First-Class honours degree in Applied Psychology before gaining a Postgraduate Degree in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling from the University of Southampton (UK). Kim is a full member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC) and is also accredited through both the Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour (ASAB) and the Animal Behaviour & Training Council (ABTC) as a Registered and Certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist. Further afield, Kim has gained Certified Cat Behaviourist status with the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC). Kim runs a cat-only behaviour consultancy, which has been in operation for over 15 years. She consults with clients throughout the UK and worldwide, helping resolve cat behaviour problems by taking a holistic, positive and education-based approach. When not consulting Kim contributes to magazines and the national press. She also sits on the panel of experts for Your Cat magazine. Her book ’21-days to the Perfect Cat’, was published by Hamlyn and released in 2014. Kim shares her life with six wonderful and very spirited cats.
