Bettina graduated as a veterinary surgeon from the Freie Universität Berlin, Germany. She worked in mixed practices in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland before returning to Germany to complete a doctorate in veterinary pathology at the University of Leipzig. Back in the UK she developed a passionate interest in feline medicine and achieved membership of the Feline Chapter of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in 2002. She is currently working in a first opinion small animal practice in Oxfordshire and lives in Gloucestershire. She is always enthusiastic to learn new and interesting things about cats.
