Stefania graduated on July 25, 2019, in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Messina with a grade of 109/110. In December 2019, she started my PhD concerning canine and feline mammary tumours, particularly, the study of inflammatory infiltrates, through the validation of protein markers with analytical methods such as immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence.

Stefania is currently working in the same office and is involved in several research projects, including ‘Conservative treatments for feline mammary fibroadenomatosis’, with the related publication ‘Conservative treatments for feline fibroadenomatous changes of the mammary gland’, ‘Study on morphological changes in the genital tract after long-term treatment with deslorelin acetate in a female cat with the related publication’ and ‘Hyperplastic and atrophic changes in the genital tract of a female cat following repeated treatment with deslorelin acetate – a case report.’ As well as also other research projects that are still ongoing regarding feline mammary tumours and other projects regarding feline reproductive disorders.
