Kieran graduated from the University of Bristol in 2005 and worked in general practice for 6 years. There, he achieved his RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Cardiology and enjoyed a range of cases from orthopaedics to internal medicine and dermatology. He undertook a Residency and combined Masters degree at the Royal Veterinary College in London. He has been working full-time in cardiology (small animal, farm and equine) since 2011 and holds ACVIM and ECVIM Diplomate status, in addition to being accredited as an RCVS Specialist. He has published widely to further our understanding of feline heart disease, and has spoken all over the world on feline cardiology. He also has a particular interest in interventional cardiovascular techniques and congenital heart disease. As Clinical Lead in Cardiology at Langford Vets, Bristol, Kieran works 85% in the clinic and sees primary cases as well as training the next generation of specialists in cardiology.
