Amber graduated from Massey University class of 2015 and has worked in Small Animal first opinion practice in New Zealand until 2022. A year ago she moved to the UK to accompany her husband on military deployment. In July 2022 she was awarded Membership through examination to the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Science in Medicine of Cats.

Amber is currently working as a small animal locum veterinarian in the South East UK. Amber’s dream job would be to work in a veterinary teaching hospital to help further educate the next generation of veterinarians. Outside of clinical work Amber enjoys running, yoga and embracing her inner nerd by playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends. Her goals for the future include running her third marathon, participating in a yoga teacher training course and of course lots of travel around Europe! She owns a cocker spaniel ‘Echo’ (who also loves cats) and a rescue cat ‘Nugget’ who hates everyone, the latter being her inspiration for further study into feline medicine.
