Susana graduated from the University of Porto (Portugal) in 2001 and after working in first opinion practice moved to the UK to start a rotating internship with a view of following her dream of becoming an internal medicine specialist.
In 2006 she started an internal medicine residency at the University of Bristol (Langford Vet School). Susana obtained the Internal Medicine Specialist Status in 2010 and have since then has worked in private referral centers, consultancy services and also providing post-graduate education. Outside of work she loves being able to grow her own food in her allotment and to spend time with her son and pets.
