Nicky is passionate about cat welfare! She works in Cats Protection’s Veterinary Department as Behaviour Manager, implementing the charity’s strategy to promote feline behaviour and welfare. Nicky is a registered veterinary nurse and holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Animal Behaviour. She undertook an Advanced Diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour Therapy from the Centre of Applied Pet Ethology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling from the University of Southampton. Nicky is a full member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors and Animal Behaviour & Training Council (ABTC) Registered Clinical Animal Behaviourist. She represents Cats Protection on the Animal Behaviour and Training Council. She has co-authored a chapter in the BSAVA Manual of Shelter Medicine, and Cats Protection’s ‘The Behaviour Guide’.
