Heidi Radke is an EBVS Specialist in Small Animal Surgery and RCVS Specialist in Small Animal Orthopaedic Surgery. She is Senior Lecturer in Small Animal Surgery at the University of Cambridge and runs a busy referral and teaching clinic in small animal orthopaedics at the University’s Queen’s Veterinary School Hospital.

Heidi’s clinical expertise includes all aspects of orthopaedics in cats and dogs, with a particular interest in joint surgery including minimal invasive techniques like arthroscopy, and she gets excited about the management of complicated trauma and angular limb deformity cases. Heidi’s research interests include decision making processes and assessment of outcomes of small animal orthopaedic procedures.

Having studied and worked at a variety of universities in Munich, Zurich, Georgia, Texas and Bern before joining Cambridge University in 2006, Heidi is interested in an international outlook of veterinary orthopaedics, research and education.
