Consuelo graduated with a DVM from the University of Chile in 2017. She obtained a postgraduate diploma in small animal medicine from the University of Chile (2016) and a postgraduate diploma in domestic cat medicine (2019). Consuelo achieved ISFM Cat Friendly Practitioner status in 2019, and received her Fear Free Level 3 Certificate and AAFP Cat Friendly Certificate (both in 2022). She has also completed the ISFM Advanced Feline Behaviour course (2020-2022).

Conseulo received a Master’s Degree in Ethology in Companion Animals at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2023-2024) and is an undergraduate professor in feline medicine at the Andres Bello University. She is a national and international speaker (online) for Royal Canin and other education centres. She currently works as a veterinarian with exclusive dedication to the care of domestic felines, both in private practice and at the university level with students. She also works as an undergraduate teacher in internal medicine subjects. Her main areas of interest are feline ethology, endocrinology and infectious diseases. It is for this reason that she completed her final Master’s thesis in infectious diseases related to behavioural changes in felines, and is constantly updated in the areas seeking to carry out a complete approach that includes both an internal and ethological medicine approach in patients with behavioural diseases.
