Royal Canin for Pill AssistTM Cat
Royal Canin Pill Assist Cat is a tasty, easy to swallow pill pocket that has been specifically designed to help cat owners administer tablets to their cats. Pill Assist is a simple 3-step process: insert the pill, shape the product (with the hand that didn’t touch the pill) and give it to your cat. Pill Assist covers and disguises most types of tablets and can help the most uncooperative cat to take a treatment without spitting it out. This product will be launched by Royal Canin in 2020.

Braun for Aesculap Exacta
Aesculap Exacta is a lightweight, battery-operated clipper for accurately clipping small areas of fur. Designed for grooming smaller dogs, vets have reported it to be cat friendly due to being small, accurate, quiet and battery-operated. For cats, it means that a small area can be clipped without fuss and significantly less stress.

Kitty Kollar for Kitty Kollar
Kitty Kollar is a soft, washable, fabric collar designed to wear in conjunction with an oesophagal feeding tube. The kollar replaces the gauze and bandaging normally used to hold the tube in place, keeping it more sanitary, more stable (less likely to be removed by the cat), more protected against scratching and damage, and more comfortable. It is also preferred by owners who do not want to see the tube in their cat’s neck and is less restrictive than a bandage or an Elizabethan collar.

ProtectaPet for its Cat Fencing Solutions
ProtectaPet has developed a number of solutions for owners who want to let their cats out safely, be it a fence-top barrier or full fence, a freestanding enclosure, a catio (cat patio) or balcony frames. The variety of solutions, components and sizes provide high quality creative fencing for cats and the company is continually adding to its range and seeking the best for cat welfare. International Cat Care recognises the many benefits of providing a safe, enclosed environment for cats (such as safety from road accidents, or predators). While keeping a cat indoors may keep it safe from the dangers of the outdoor world, outdoor access provides stimulation and an increased opportunity for exercise, stimulation and to express natural behaviours.

Coastline Global for Kit4Cat Cat Urine Sample Collection Sand
How do you collect a urine sample from your cat? Most litters are absorbent by design and you will never catch it directly in a pot! Coastline Global from the USA has the solution – a sand which goes in the litter tray and is readily accepted by cats because of its consistency (cats love sand!). This sand is hydrophobic, repelling water so that the cat’s urine actually sits on top of the litter and can be sucked up into a syringe to take to the vet to sample. It is available in 44 countries.

Sure Petcare for SureFlap Microchip Pet Door Connect with Hub
Cat flaps which open triggered by a cat’s microchip are now readily available. International Cat Care gave Sure Petcare a Cat Friendly Award for its microchip cat flap in 2014 because it allowed controlled entry and exit from home for resident cats while preventing the entry of other cats. Now the company is developing its products further and this flap can be connected to the wifi in the house via a Hub which can report back to your phone letting you know when the cat enters or exits. This allows owners to see the cat’s daily routine and lock the door remotely if they wish. Great for cat loving technology lovers but benefical to cats which may need to be shut in for safety reasons or let out if owners are not present.

Feliway (Ceva Animal Health)

Hide, Perch and Go box (British Columbia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals)
By watching how cats adapted to the highly stressful rescue environment in their first few days, BCSPCA’s Nadine Gourkow came to realise how important it was for cats to have somewhere to hide. By adapting the design of a simple cardboard box they came up with a product which provided somewhere for the cat to hide, or somewhere high to sit, and which could then be adapted to become the box in which the cat went to its new home. Maintaining the scent security which the cat had within the box reduces stress during transition to a new home. Designed around the cat’s need to hide and feel secure, this product marked the beginning of new thinking in rescue.

Feline Fort (Cats Protection)
The Feline Fort takes the concept of hiding and having a high vantage point a little further. It is durable and can be used in different ways in the home, veterinary practice or rescue situation.
