I was blown away by International Cat Care’s website content on unowned cats – they always produce good stuff but this is on another level. The language they use is brilliant – I have signed up for everything and shared like crazy on social media. You all need to see it. It is the best resource out there.”

“The website has a strong practical feel to it. We love how the site includes layers so you can easily access more information if you want to but if you want to cover the area in a more superficial way it is easy to do that too. Well done for a great set of resources.”

“I am astonished by the amount of helpful and vital information and knowledge it includes! And not only that – it is processed into very comprehensive and accessible form and so I would call it an ingenious work – very well done!”

“What a massive achievement. Sending you a tremendous, heartfelt well done, with an enormous amount of gratitude attached for all I have learned from you, and how much that has impacted Battersea cats, on this journey.”

Lindsey Quinlan, Head of Cattery, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, UK

“iCatCare’s resources relating to unowned cats are clearly laid out and easy to read and will be an excellent resource for all of those working with unowned cats. Veterinary professionals, shelter workers, foster carers and all of those with an interest in unowned cats will find the information extremely useful. There is useful guidance on assessing cats ability to cope in the rehoming centre (using a traffic light assessment tool), deciding which cats are suitable for rehoming as pets versus those where alternative options (such as rehoming to a farm) will be best, checklists for admission of unowned cats to a rehoming centre, and so much more. The information is referenced with further reading and supplementary videos, questionnaires and checklists. There is helpful advice on settling in newly rehomed cats to their new house and some lovely testimonials relating to cats experiencing alternative rehoming options. Importantly there is a great deal of empathetic and supportive materials for those working with unowned cats who might at times feel overwhelmed by the responsibilities they face. Overall, this is a fantastic resource that merits bookmarking on your computer as a go-to reference site for issues relating to unowned cats and cat friendly homing.”
