Nicola is International Cat Care’s CEO
As the charity’s CEO, Nicola works with the team, the trustees and a wide range of stakeholders in the development of the charity and to deliver International Cat Care’s mission to enable more people to act in a cat friendly way to improve cat welfare.
Nicola joined iCatCare in 2022 having spent most of her career at veterinary charity PDSA working as a vet in a busy charity hospital and later as Head of Pet Health and Welfare promoting responsible pet ownership through a wide range of outreach programmes and creating the annual PDSA Animal Wellbeing (PAW) Report. Throughout her career as a vet, Nicola has always been passionate about improving the welfare of animals through education, collaboration and finding innovative solutions to welfare issues.
Her first cats, Neo and Purdy, still inspire her to find more ways to create a cat friendly world and to ensure iCatCare’s vision that every cat, owned and unowned, is treated with respect, compassion and understanding, becomes a reality.
