Lynne is the Chair of the Board of Trustees

Lynne Hill graduated from Trinity College Dublin and acts as a consultant to the veterinary profession after retiring from her position as CEO of the Linnaeus Group, when the company owned over 135 veterinary premises and referral centres in the UK. The practices are involved in all aspects of veterinary – referral, small animal, equine and farm – together with postgraduate training and research.

Lynne worked in both the University of Bristol and the Royal Veterinary College running all their veterinary clinical operations.

During her MBA studies she focused on strategy and marketing which she has been able to put to good use in her subsequent roles.

Lynne has extensive knowledge of the veterinary profession in the UK as well as within Europe and beyond, working at one time for Hills Pet Nutrition as European Marketing Manager.

Lynne has had extensive involvement in veterinary professional organisations and administration as well as veterinary university accreditation through both site visits (with RCVS, EAEVE, AVMA and CAAM) and professional posts at the RCVS.

Lynne was the first female President of the British Small Animal Veterinary Association. She was an elected Council member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons for twenty years and was President (2005-6).

She is also the deputy chair of the Board of Trustees for Guide Dogs.

Lynne is the proud companion of Laoise, a black and white ‘moggy’.
