Hannah is Deputy Editor of the Journal of Feline Medicine and Surgery and the Journal of Feline Medicine and Surgery Open Reports

Hannah is part of our veterinary publications team, and her role involves overseeing quality assurance of original (clinical research and case series/reports) articles on our two international, peer-reviewed veterinary journals – Journal of Feline Medicine and Surgery (JFMS) and JFMS Open Reports. These are the official journals of both the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM), the veterinary division of International Cat Care, and the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) and are published by SAGE Publications. She also contributes to clinical review content and coordination of Special Collections, as well as overseeing promotional activities connected to journal content, and quality assurance of ISFM member materials linked to journal content.

 About Hannah

 Hannah graduated in 1996 with a degree in archaeology and history. Following a year with Element Books as a production assistant in their production department, she joined Techset Composition Ltd as an editorial assistant helping to produce scientific, technical and medical (STM) books and journals. In 2001, Hannah became an editorial manager with responsibility for project managing books and journals for several leading STM publishers, and has worked with a range of academic publishers and societies over her career. In 2016, Hannah became a freelance project manager and copy editor. Hannah joined International Cat Care in 2019 as an assistant editor to help with the veterinary publications and became deputy editor in 2022.

She is owned by gorgeous Gussie, a black and rather fluffy moggy.
