Photography competition 2018

About the competition

Thank you so much to everyone who entered our 2018 'Kittenhood' photography competition! We received nearly 3,000 brilliant entries from photographers in over 60 countries and the iCatCare judges had the incredibly tough task of choosing just twelve winning entries, which now feature in the 2019 iCatCare charity calendar.

Congratulations to our winners – Sabine Schmidt, Delila Maslo, Rachel Philip, John Foreman, Catan Ngan, Claire Mowforth, Rachel Hunter, Vivian Harding and Sara Grant! And our overall winner Lindsey Chadwick!

All of the winners received a certificate, copies of the 2019 calendar their image features in and a selection of iCatCare merchandise. The overall winner whose image graces the cover of the calendar also received £500.

The 12 winning images:

1st row from left: Catan Ngan, Rachel Hunter and Sabine Schmidt
2nd row from left: John Foreman, Claire Mowforth and Lindsey Chadwick

3rd row from left: Rachel Philip, Sara Grant and Delila Maslo
4th row from left: Lindsey Chadwick, Vivian Harding and Claire Mowforth

The overall winner:

Congratulations to our overall winner Lindsey Chadwick from the UK, whose adorable image of kitten siblings Mocha and Cappuccino unanimously captured the hearts of the competition judges.

The 13th winner:

As there were so many amazing entries, we opened a public vote for a 13th winner to be chosen, whose image will feature alongside the dates for 2020 at the end of the 'Kittenhood' charity calendar.

Congratulations to Francesca Barbero from Italy – our final 'Kittenhood' winner!
