Sneak peek: ISFM Nursing Day talks at Cat Weekend 2019

With the 2019 Cat Weekend fast approaching, we're sharing an exclusive sneak preview of a few of the talks that will be featured…

We’re heading to the medieval market town and birthplace of Shakespeare – Stratford-upon-Avon – where six expert speakers will be covering a range of feline-focused topics. Including neurology, hyperthyroidism, preventative healthcare and more.

Specially tailored for veterinary nurses the day provides 5 hours of CPD. And, if you’re up for it afterwards, there is a free to attend evening event celebrating a whole host of awards!

RCVS and European Recognised Specialist in Veterinary Neurology Mark Lowrie will be presenting two talks:

- Tips and tricks for neurological examination in cats
- Handling head trauma in cats – what YOU can do

Veterinary Technician Specialist in Behaviour, qualified animal trainer and Registered Veterinary Nurse Linda Ryan will be presenting:

- Feeding for the future

Senior Medicine Nurse and Veterinary Technician Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine Laura Rosewell will be presenting two talks:

- Nursing considerations for hyperthyroid cats
– Nursing considerations for diabetic cats
