Cat lover and poet Elizabeth Wager will be visiting Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium on Thursday 18th October to launch 'The Poetic Mews - Cats and their Poets' – a beautifully crafted collection of poems.
Each poem tells a story of a historical literary giant seen through the eyes of a cat and written in their own singular style. The highly entertaining collection takes us on a historical romp from Beowulf to Ogden Nash via Shakespeare and Milton. If you love cats, or history or poetry (or a combination of those) you'll almost certainly enjoy this book!
Signed copies of the The Poetic Mews will be on sale at the launch and all proceeds from the sale of the book have been generously donated to International Cat Care.
Settle back with a glass of wine in the company of the cafe cats and listen to Liz give a selection of readings.
