Rebecca qualified with distinction from the University of Bristol in 1998. Following a brief time in mixed practice, she has, for the past 22 years, worked exclusively in first opinion, small animal practice. Throughout this time she has enhanced her knowledge by undertaking further qualifications. She gained her RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Medicine in 2008 and in 2015, became an RCVS Advanced Practitioner within the same field. In 2021, she successfully gained membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (Medicine of Cats UK).
Her current role is that of Senior Medical Vet within a busy, independent, RCVS accredited practice in Surrey. Here she enjoys the challenge of complex medical cases alongside performing advanced ultrasonography and endoscopy.
Her wide-ranging interests include endocrinology, cardiology and haematology.
Outside of work, Rebecca and her family enjoy spending time outdoors; walking, skiing, kayaking and traveling (when global pandemics allow!) Rebecca and her family share their home with two gorgeous, very much adored, feline brothers; Apollo and Simba.
