Raquel graduated from Complutense University of Madrid in 2008. This was followed by a Masters and a PhD in Veterinary Sciences which she completed in 2015. In 2016 Raquel moved to the UK to do a rotating internship at Pride Veterinary Centre. After completing it in 2017, she has worked in several first opinion practice settings and has attended numerous national and international Workshops and congresses.
In 2020 she decided to pursue her passion for Feline Medicine an she undertook the ISFM Feline Medicine Distance Education Course. She became a member of the Australian and New Zealand College of veterinary Science in 2022. She currently works in Derbyshire where she is setting up a new cat clinic so watch this space!
Raquel’s main interests include geriatric, behavioural medicine and endocrine diseases. She also has a particular interest in surgery and infectious diseases control.
