Patricia graduated from the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro in Portugal in 2015. Her love for cats was the sole reason why she joined Vet School, where her colleagues and professors quickly (and fondly) designated her as the cat lady. During her years at university Patricia would often foster ill or injured cats and work on socialising feral kittens.
Patricia has always focused her career in Feline Medicine, having developed her master thesis in FIV and FeLV prevalence amongst owned cats in lisbon, where she joined Portugal’s first feline-only hospital as her first job.
Patricia moved to Edinburgh in 2018 and worked at other feline-only practices before joining the incredible team at The London Cat Clinic in 2020.
Patricia has passed the membership exam in 2021 to become a member of the Australian and Newzealand College (MANZCVS) (Medicine of Cats). She is also an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Feline Medicine.
