Carla Nienhuis is a Dutch veterinary nurse and has her own business in animal care since 2011. She graduated as a veterinary nurse in 2013 and increased her skills in the field of feline medicine and behaviour by completing the ISFM Certificate in Feline Friendly Nursing and the ISFM Certificate in Feline Behaviour. She works closely with local veterinarians, animal shelters, pet stores and centres for agricultural education, to improve the wellbeing of cats by sharing her knowledge and experience. In addition, she gives lectures about Cat Friendly Clinic and writes articles about cat behaviour for the magazine of the local animal shelter. Her guilty pleasures are chocolate and Formula One.
