Kate graduated from Edinburgh University in 2002 and completed an internship at the Animal Health Trust in 2004. She then worked in a veterinary hospital in London for 11 years where she was cat advocate and set up their gold cat friendly status. She enjoyed dealing with all the needs of the cats at the local RSPCA centre during this time and developed a real passion for felines.
She passed the MANZCVS membership examination (medicine of cats) in 2016 and also attained Advanced Veterinary Practitioner status.
She has since moved to the Midlands to be closer to family. She especially enjoys feline dentistry and geriatric medicine.
