Jürgen graduated as a veterinary surgeon from the University of Giessen, Germany then worked 3 years in veterinary (feline) pathology (University of Leipzig, Germany) to complete a doctorate on the subject of ‘Feline associated enteritis’. To be able to do feline work only, Jürgen had to cross the channel and was lucky enough to get a job at ‘Nine Lives Veterinary Practice for cats’ in Solihull, UK. In 2000, Jürgen set up the (then) only practice in Germany exclusively for cats. 2 years later Jürgen sat the Australian College exam (then still in Surfers Paradise on the Australian Gold Coast). Now Jürgen is part of a partnership with 3 vets and six nurses.
Jürgen’s special interests include feline infectious diseases and feline behaviour.
