Ildiko graduated from the University of Pretoria, South Africa in 1993, having been determined to be a vet since a very young age.  Over the last 25 years, she has worked primarily as a general practitioner, with a special interest in felines. After 10 years working in the UK, Ildiko moved to Australia, where she obtained her membership in feline medicine in 2008.

My main feline interests include geriatric medicine, endocrinology and infectious disease. In 2019, I co-authored a paper on feline parvovirus and have presented two abstracts at the ISFM European congress.

A recent relocation to rural Victoria has meant providing care for a different feline cohort, as well as other companion animals and wildlife.

In a rapidly changing world, I am passionate about continuing education and promoting high standards within the profession.
