Elisabetta graduated from Parma University (Italy) and shortly after graduation started a Masters Course in small animal oncology, completed in 2008. She moved to the UK in 2010 where, after working in general practice, she started a one-year rotating Internship in a private referral centre with a focus on medical and radiation oncology. Following this, Elisabetta completed an ECVIM-CA approved Oncology Residency at the University of Liverpool and successfully passed the examination to achieve the European Diploma in Small Animal Oncology.
She had been working in a busy referral in the UK for a few years before moving back to Italy, where she currently works in a multi-disciplinary private referral centre, where she is responsible for the medical oncology service.She is author and co-author of several articles published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and has delivered presentations in international congresses, courses and seminars about various topics in veterinary oncology. She is also part of the ECVIM-CA Oncology Credential Committee since 2019.
