Elisabeth graduated in 1999 from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. After this, she did a rotating internship in a private practice in Mesa Arizona followed by a residency in small animal internal medicine at the University of Prince Edward Island Atlantic Veterinary College. Since finishing her residency she has been a faculty member at the Western College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in Small Animal Internal Medicine. Between 2003-2021 Elisabeth has served in a number of administrative type positions including intern coordinator, VTH Section head and a term as the Associate Dean of Research. As a faculty member Elisabeth very active in training DVM students, interns and residents. Her research interests include infectious diseases, endocrine disorders, and prostatic diseases.
