Angie qualified from the University of Bristol in 2000. She spent 4½ years in a small animal practice, before returning to the University of Bristol to undertake an International Cat Care residency in feline medicine. She achieved the European Diploma in Small Animal Internal Medicine in 2008 and became a RCVS Recognised Specialist in Feline Medicine in 2010.

As clinical lead for the Feline Centre at Langford, Angie undertakes clinical referral work, teaches undergraduate veterinary and veterinary nursing students, and trains residents working towards specialist qualifications. She enjoys all aspects of feline medicine clinical practice and is passionate about delivering compassionate cat friendly care.

Angie also runs the radioiodine service at the Feline Centre and has particular interests in feline respiratory disease, antimicrobial stewardship and geriatric medicine. Angie has published in these areas and spoken extensively at British and European veterinary meetings, with specific focus on feline hyperthyroidism.
