Albert graduated in 1990 in Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Since 1997 he has been a clinician and clinical instructor at the Internal Medicine Service at the teaching hospital (Fundació Hospital Clínic Veterinari) at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). He is also a founding member, former president, and permanent member of the scientific committe of AVEPA feline medicine group (GEMFE) as well as a member of the European ABCD (Advisory Board on Cat diseases), a member of ISFM since 2000 and an associate editor of the AVEPA official journal. Albert has a MANZCVS feline medicine since 2016. He has written more than 30 publications in peer-reviewed journals. Albert’s areas of interest are within feline internal medicine are infectious diseases, oncology, geriatric diseases.
