International Cat Care’s COVID-19 Statement
It is with great sadness that we are cancelling this year’s ISFM Asia-Pacific Feline Congress as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak. Like everyone else, we have been keeping a careful watch on the ever-evolving situation and have now reached a point where it is extremely difficult to see a scenario in which we will be able to go ahead. ISFM will endeavour to issue full refunds of all delegate tickets via Eventbrite. If you need to contact the Conference and Events team, please email them: firstname.lastname@example.org
We would, however, like to announce our decision to run an ISFM International Feline Congress – a free virtual conference on 8th-10th August 2020 to coincide with International Cat Day.
The International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM), in partnership with the University of Sydney Centre for Veterinary Education (CVE), is heading to the colourful and cosmopolitan city of Hong Kong for this year’s Asia-Pacific Feline Congress.
The conference will be held across two days on 24–25 November 2020 at the Millennium New World Hotel. Situated in the vibrant business and shopping district of Tsim She Tsui East in Kowloon, on the Victoria Harbour waterfront, the hotel is ideally situated for making the most of this bustling metropolis.
Topics include Cardiology with Kieran Borgeat, Respiratory Disease with Vanessa Barrs, plus guest speakers and topics from our Sponsors. The CPD is high level and aimed at advanced practitioner level.
The Congress offers a wonderful opportunity to update your feline medicine knowledge in a great location with a friendly, fun feline group – make sure you join us there!
Our two key speakers, Kieran Borgeat and Vanessa Barrs, will cover a range of current and challenging aspects of feline cardiology and feline respiratory disease. They will be joined by guest speakers and most talks will be split into easily digestible 30 & 45-minute sessions.
There is also a Masterclass scheduled with Kieran Borgeat which will be an in-depth look at feline cardiac disease. This will be an interactive case-based discussion and with places limited to only 40 people.
