Distance Education – course prerequisites

You must check you have understood and you meet all advertised pre-requisites for the course.

Prerequisites applicable to all ISFM and iCatCare courses

Learners should have basic computer skills. Students are required to complete and submit assessments electronically, and so a basic understanding of Microsoft Office (or equivalent) including Microsoft Word is useful.

Due to the distance learning nature of our courses, you must have regular access to a computer with internet access.

You must have a good understanding of English. All course notes and assessments are in English and your answers must be in English. We encourage overseas learners to sign up for our courses, and although we will take into account that English is not a first language, you should still have a good understanding of the English language.
